Shear Systems is the premier locally-owned Mac computer sales and repair store serving the New Orleans area. Established in 1992, we were here almost a decade before the first Apple Store in the world was opened in 2001! We were the first independent business in the New Orleans area authorized by Apple to perform warranty repairs, which is why many of the city's largest advertising agencies, law firms, and graphic designers are long-time clients.

As a family business owned by lifelong nerds with appetites for fun and electronic toys, we are a laid back bunch, but we take the job very seriously. People's computers are their lives now; we understand that and attack each challenge in front of us as though it was our own. We do NOT like to get "beaten" by a computer, if you will.
